What is reseller hosting and how does it work?
Reseller hosting lets you purchase a block of server resources (storage, bandwidth, and account capacity) from iTrustWeb and redistribute those resources to your own clients under your own brand. You set your own pricing, create and manage cPanel accounts via WHM, and handle your client relationships — we handle the physical infrastructure, uptime, and security at the server level.
Do I get full WHM access?
Yes. Every reseller plan includes full Web Host Manager (WHM) access. From WHM, you can create, manage, suspend, and terminate client cPanel accounts; set resource limits; view server health statistics; configure DNS; manage SSL certificates; and perform mass operations across all accounts at once.
Is WHMCS included in the reseller plans?
WHMCS is available as an optional add-on (or you can use your own licence) with our Business and Agency plans. When integrated with WHM via the WHMCS cPanel Reseller Module, account creation and suspension can be fully automated — a client pays, WHMCS creates the cPanel account in WHM instantly. We can help you set this up after purchase.
What does "white-label" mean in practice?
White-labelling means your clients see only your brand, not iTrustWeb's. In practice: your nameservers point to our infrastructure but show your company name (e.g. ns1.yourbrand.com); cPanel shows your logo and company name; WHMCS invoices come from your domain; the server hostname is set to your domain. iTrustWeb does not appear anywhere in your client-facing environment.
What is overselling and is it available?
Overselling allows you to allocate more total disk space and bandwidth to your client accounts than the sum on your reseller plan — based on the statistical reality that most accounts never use their full allocation simultaneously. Overselling is enabled on all iTrustWeb reseller plans. For example, on a 60 GB Startup plan, you could allocate 10 GB to each of 12 clients even if total allocated space exceeds 60 GB, because typical usage will stay well below that limit.
Can I set up private nameservers?
Yes. Private nameservers (e.g. ns1.yourhost.com and ns2.yourhost.com) are included on all reseller plans. You'll need to register two child nameservers at your domain registrar pointing to our IP addresses, then configure them in WHM. We have a full guide in our knowledge base and our support team can walk you through the setup.
Can I upgrade my reseller plan later?
Yes. Upgrades between reseller plans are prorated — you pay only the difference. When you're ready to move beyond shared reseller infrastructure, we can migrate you to a VPS or dedicated server with no downtime. All your client accounts, DNS records, and email data come with you.
Do I have to support my clients' technical issues?
That's up to you. As a reseller, you're responsible for your client-facing support. Our support team supports you as the reseller — if a server-level issue affects your accounts, we'll fix it. You then communicate the resolution to your clients under your own brand. Some resellers pass tickets to us; others handle everything themselves. We'll work with whatever model suits your business.
